Date: Sunday, August 11, 2019
After filming most of the big throwers from the 2019 Pro Worlds Distance Competition I headed over to the putting competition area. The day was winding down and I saw Gregg Barsby, Josh Anthon and George Smith were just about to start and asked if I could tag along. I opted to leave in most of their routines and prep in hopes you can gain something.
RULES:
9 baskets with 3 stations at each basket. Shortest station is worth 1, second is worth 2 and longest is worth 3 meaning a perfect score would be 6 per basket. If a player misses one of their attempts, they have 1 chance to make the come back putt and if they miss that, they lose a point. So, if you missed all 3 putts and the miss all 3 come back chances you could get -3 for that basket.
PUTTERS:
Gregg – KC Aviar
Josh – Grid Stamped Aviar
George – D Line P2
